Our Clyde Sideboard has your storage sorted. Where traditional sideboards usually feature drawers, this sideboard has 3 spacious shelves to showcase whatever your heart pleases. This unit will look great holding your books, magazines, films, games, memorabilia, TV and gaming media and so much more. This sideboard really has it all.
Featuring a slight overhang on one side, this side unit has been designed with practicality in mind. The table top can be kept flush with the wall whilst still allowing unsightly cables to move freely below without getting damaged.
Robust and practical, this large sideboard boasts plenty of versatile storage options to help keep your home clutter-free. Carefully constructed and hand finished by our team of woodworkers and volunteers, you have a full range of finish options to choose from which help protect the unit and accentuates the beautiful grain of the wood.
Possessing all the character from the original reclaimed scaffold boards, you’ll see a whole range of markings, tones, colours and paint marks on each sideboard. Colour Disclaimer
Colour, grain, knotting, scarring, lettering and the odd paint mark are all natural characteristics of our reclaimed scaffold board products due to the nature of wood. As a result, every item will appear slightly different. If you require matching items, we’d recommend ordering together and specifying what you’d like to ensure as close a match as possible.
Everyone’s screens are different which also affects the finish colours you see. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but we cannot guarantee the colour you see accurately portrays what your final purchase may look like.

Delivery
We aim to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as humanly possible, and most of our orders should be delivered within 1-3 days of dispatch from us. All of our orders qualify for free delivery as long as the address is within mainland UK. Where transport costs are higher charges can occur to cover costs, we always keep this to a minimum.
Stock Products & Customised Products
Standard/non-customised items will generally be dispatched 5-15 working days (1-3 weeks) after the date of order. For customised orders (for items purchased using our calculators, or for bespoke items) will be dispatched 5-25 working days (1-5 weeks) after the date of order. This is an absolute maximum, usually orders will be delivered within 2-3 weeks but it depends on the complexity of the product/s you order.
Our zones of delivery
Zone A: If your postcode falls within mainland UK and the value of your order is above £100 then your purchase will qualify for free delivery. A flat rate of £9.50 will be added to any purchases of £100 or less.
Zone B: If your postcode is for Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands please contact us on 0141 237 8566 with details of the items you are interested in and we will be able to provide a delivery estimate. Please note that 1-3 day delivery is only available in Zone A.
Product sizes affect delivery times
Because our products range varies widely in size and weight we need to use different courier services depending on the item(s) in your order. Outlined below are a few categories to help you identify how your order will be delivered to you:
– Small items are delivered using our parcel courier service, and generally take 1-3 working days. Upon dispatch we’ll provide you with a tracking number, which you can enter at glasgowwood.parceltrack.live for live delivery updates.
– Large items are delivered by pallet and take around 2-3 days within Zone A, 3-5 days within Zone B. We’ll provide you with tracking details where possible.
– Extremely large and/or heavy items will be delivered either on a pallet or with our own transport. Dispatch and Delivery times can vary in this category.
PLEASE NOTE: Where items are delivered by pallet the couriers are under no obligation to deliver inside your premises. It is therefore your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property. If you require a two-man service to bring your goods inside your home please ask regarding this service at the point of order.
Our own vans are used to provide a two-man service, and we have a delivery radius of 20 miles which our team can deliver to. Please contact us for a quote if you live within the delivery radius as in the photograph above and we’ll provide you with a quote.

Delivery FAQ’s
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is usually FREE within Mainland UK. Some heavy and awkward items have an additional transport charge, which includes items such as our picnic benches, larger dining tables and whole whisky barrels and planters. Please call us on 0141 237 8566 for a delivery quote. Delivery to islands including Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Scottish Isles will also incur an additional charge. Please telephone for an individual quote.
How long does delivery take?
Providing that your items are in stock your order will be processed and you will receive your purchase within 5-20 business days from the date of order.
Please allow up to 3 days after your order is dispatched for our chosen courier to deliver it to you.
If you need your item(s) delivered at a certain time or date please let us know when placing the order and we’ll do our best to accommodate this.
Please note that our couriers can only give approximate delivery times and cannot guarantee the exact time and date. If you’ve been provided with a tracking number beginning with GB followed by 10 digits, you’ll be able to view up to date tracking information for your order by using glasgowwood.parceltrack.live.
I need my order urgently, is this possible?
Depending on the item it is you’re looking for we should be able to help you! Several items we keep stock of, and we are also able to provide express delivery, meaning your items could be delivered to you within 24 – 48 hours. We can also arrange Saturday or timed deliveries. Please give us a call for a speedy delivery quote.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Absolutely! All of our furniture including picnic benches, garden seats, dining tables and conservatory furniture are available for delivery throughout Europe. Please email us with your full address and the products you are interested in and we can put together a personalised quote for you.
How will my furniture be delivered to me?
Depending on the size and weight of your order it may be delivered by our own drivers or by our couriers on behalf of Glasgow Wood.
Generally, smaller items such as small planters, units, shelving and gifts & accessories are delivered as a parcel. Larger and heavier items such as picnic benches, tables, whisky barrels, larger seats (such as our Adirondack or Assynt chairs) and oversized raised beds will be delivered by pallet.
PLEASE NOTE: When items are delivered by pallet, the couriers are under no obligation to deliver it inside your premises and it is your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property. If you need assistance with this please give us a call or ensure it’s included in your order notes.
I’ve placed an order online, what happens next?
After the payment has been processed you will receive an email confirmation of the order. All goods purchased will remain the property of Glasgow Wood until payment has been received in full (cleared funds to our Bank account and including VAT).
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email notifying you that the goods are on their way to you. On large orders (sent by pallet), you will receive a phone call with an estimated time of delivery. For smaller items you will receive an email with a tracking number beginning with GB followed by 10 digits, you’ll be able to view up to date tracking information for your order by using glasgowwood.parceltrack.live.
Do I need to be at home to receive my delivery?
It’s recommended to be at home to accept your delivery especially if you have ordered larger items from us. If it’s difficult for you to be at home for the delivery then please discuss this with one of our team. Arrangements can sometimes be made to leave the item in an agreed safe space.
What do I need to do when I receive my items?
When you receive delivery of your order you are responsible for checking the goods whilst the delivery driver is present and before signing for them. Whilst the driver is with you, unpack the items. After unpacking, if there is any damage to the goods at all, then you must sign for them as ‘RECEIVED DAMAGED’. ___ will not be responsible for replacing any damaged items unless they have been signed for as damaged.
If you are unable to unpack you items before signing for them please sign for your delivery as ‘UNCHECKED’
What do I do if there’s a problem with my delivery?
In the unlikely event that this is a problem with your order please call our customer services team on 01726 884123 and we will be happy to discuss this with you.
Please sign for the goods “received damaged” or refuse delivery if the damage is unacceptable. Look for such things as dents or gouges, rounded corners, broken boxes, etc. If damage is not reported within 48hrs, Sustainable Furniture (UK) Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damages that occur. Replacement products will be sent if there has been courier damage.

Tips for a smooth delivery process
- It sounds obvious, but checking that your chosen furniture will fit through your door is very important!
- Check the measurements of the furniture you have ordered on our website and make sure that you have adequate access through doorways and into its final location.
This is particularly important with our Teak Root furniture, including dining and coffee tables. These beautiful roots are entirely natural, but that also means they can be quite obscure shapes. If you have narrow doorways or a layout that may cause difficulties please call our customer services team and we can advise on the best root to suit your needs.
